The Department of Meteorology has issued an advisory for strong winds in the Western slopes of the central hills, and the Northern, North-central and North-
Western provinces and the Hambantota and Trincomalee districts.
According to the department, the advisory is effective until 12.30 pm tomorrow (30 May).
Per the advisory, red alerts have been issued to 14 districts, and amber alerts have been issued to 11 districts. (Newswire)
